SAINT PATH is a story-driven 2D fantasy RPG set in a world where sword and sorcery stand side by side.

About This Game

SAINT PATH began as a small project. But as ideas kept taking shape during development, it grew far beyond what I originally planned.

The main plot is largely settled. What remains is a great deal of work: writing, map character sprites, battle art, and the code that ties it all together.

I have also put a lot into the battle system and into the flavor text for every piece of equipment and passive skill. To make the most of that depth, the game needs side stories and bosses to match, so those are on the list too.

Right now, my priorities are the writing and the story structure behind it, building maps, and creating map and battle art. As a result, character portraits are still rough sketches. They will be finished as development goes on.

Features

- A main story and side stories (planned). It is too early to say how long the full game will be.

- Active Time Battle. Formations, cover, skills, equipment, and passives open up a wide range of tactics.

- Enemies that can see you. Enemies on the map have a field of vision, which adds stealth to exploration, and may come into play in the story as well.

- Customize your party with a wide variety of equipment and passive skills.

- Available in English and Japanese.

Development Progress

Most of the prologue is currently playable.

Keyboard and gamepad are both supported, and the available keys are always shown on screen. See the included README for the full list.
